enable ftp in php

Hi

Can you help me with this probleme. I've installed apache 2.48, mysql 4.0.16 and php4.3.3 and it's working fine. The problem I forgot to enable ftp during the installation of php.
I'm worried if I recompile php with:
./configure --enable-ftp will destroye my installation

I recompile all the time, it wont destroy your installation. You might want to backup your php.ini file first though if you've made any changes to it.
