Hello all! My question is just one of direction.
I run an html form-based survey site and I'm interested in switching over to something more advanced to fit my evolved needs. It's tiring calculating the results for the survey and I'd like to create something more personal so respondents can see how they compare with everyone else who's taken the survey- ultimately doing away with calculating and publishing (publically) the results myself altogether.
I've waded through a lot of information the last week or so and need some slightly more focused places to reference. Hopefully you can help!
Basically it's just an idea of where I want to go, but I'm not sure if it's feasable or not. I am a newbie, but a fast learner who doesn't mind learning. I just want to learn efficiently! Here's a scenario of what I wish to do.
Visitor comes to site to fill out the survey...

Personal Results displayed for respondent (comparisons statistically with pre-defined descriptions for certain tiers/answer categories). Much like those quizes everywhere.
All Results stored in database and can be accessed by only me so I can modify invalid answers to keep the data safe from flippant or false entries.
Any tips of where to find information to keep me focused/apps I need, etc. is much appreciated!
