Hi, all.

Happy new year.

I am thinking about moving one site from one host to another. BUT, I dread the thought or re-populating the database. Does anyone know of any way to save info in one database to a file(s) for each table, so I could make the migration to the alternate host easier for me?

output the schema of the db to a txt file and on one server and import it into the other. most RDBMS have some sort of utility for doing this, like mysqldump for mySQL.
