Confirm Email Reading/Delivery ?

Hi and Happy New Year to Everyone,

I found the foll. code in the manual and obviously it works. But how do i add a header such that i receive an email once the person has read my mail ?

I tried using

$headers .= 'Confirm To : [e-mail]>' . "\r\n";
$headers .= 'Confirm Email To: [e-mail]>' . "\r\n";
$headers .= 'Confirm Read Receipt To : [e-mail]>' . "\r\n";

but I get an error for all 3 options.

Any suggestions pl ?

Have you read RFC 1891? Have you tried "Return-Receipt-To:"? Also, DSN is tricky at best ... on Sendmail, last I recall, you have to compile the thing with DSN support and set a switch in the config file.....
