help with mailing

hello i have a problem with html mail
when i send the mail i can not see it right in my mailbox
"no pictures; i can not click on the links; and the background color is wrong.
(the mail is being send in html format)

            $headers .= "Reply-To: [e-mail]\r\n";

this sends the mail i insert in a form

the problem is that wen the mail is send the html code is wrong as you can see above
does enyone know why or how the \\ gets there

The slashes are because you have magic quotes enabled in your php.ini, or you may even be adding them with addslashes somewhere else in the code.

Look at setting you magic quotes at runtime with set_magic_quotes_runtime if you don't have access to php.ini, or using stripslashes() to remove them.
