Hi

Does anyone know a freeware php code formatter? It would be nice to have a program where you can copy your php file into a field and have the program space it out a reformat it so it looks nice.

Why not make it look nice from the start? Its a good habbit to get into.

Anyway... You might try searching the board for threads on php IDE's. The subject has been touched upon many times, and many of these IDE's offer the functionality you are after.
