[RESOLVED] Disappered + from a passed string using global $_GET

Hi,

I ran into a bit of a problem. A + (regular plus sign) disappears when I reference a new page. Here's the code:

$display_block="<a href=\"showitem.php?name=$name\">$name</a></font></td>";
echo "display_block";

This outputs a link $name = "SR + Partners".

But when I click on the link and get to page showitem.php and I access $_GET[name] I get "SR Partners" without the plus sign.

Please help.

have you tried urlencode / htmlentities?
