PHP Loop script for locating images

Hi I was after a simple .php script that would locate images in an album within picturetrail.com

http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL144/1661164/8615162/124823683.jpg
http://pic6.picturetrail.com/VOL144/1661164/8615162/124823667.jpg

These are links to two pictures within the album stored one after the other, what I was wanting to know, is it possible to code a php loop that will search a range of numbers for instance between 124823600.jpg and 124823700.jpg and return positive links for pages that contain an image within the album and discard the numbers that return a 404 error.
