OK IM TOTALLY NEW TO THIS SO PLEASE BEAR WITH ME.
ok ill try to explain this as easy as possible.
i have a website and i want to put products on it.
lets say i have a door and i have a window and i want to put attributes on it like year type model # price and stuff like that. so how woudl i make a database of stuff and so that i have an html form that is like...
(year [from] [to] (model []) (# of holes [])
and stuff like that (those are just examples).
and then in the databse i woudl want somethign liek this
(door a) (pictures [a: picture1.jpg, b: picture 2.jpg]) (# of holes): 4 (year): 3456 (model) 4534523
(door b) ETC
(door c) ETC.
and then the HTML page would refresh and put up a page with different matches for the inquiry and be sort of like
(picture) Door A Year:1342 # of holes: 45
(picture) Door R Year:1342 # of holes: 45
(picture) Door G Year:1342 # of holes: 45
anyways i think you guys get the idea sort of like a catalog of stuff that is searchable. ok well thnx for the help guys - i think the easiest way to help me with this is maybe point me to a TUTORIAL page that wpoudl probably be most appreciated.
