PHP Editor

Hi all,

I've started a project for a new PHP editor. Most editor I've tried were too heavy/lack some functionality or cost money. I've started my project as a freeware application, and I'll try to keep it so.

There are many features already implemented:
- Code completion for php function - Ctrl-Space
- File browser
- FTP syncronization
- Tooltips for php functions
- Tooltips for user functions (using ctags - still testing it)
- Brackets highlights
- Shortcuts
- Other nice stuff

I've tried to keep the editor clean and fast. I'm looking for additional help (I'm working on it in my free time and I'm a single person). I also need people to test it more.

I'll be glad for any help available (I also need people to help me document it), as well as any suggestions.

That program is pretty cool so far. Only thing I noticed which might be a useful feature if you can do it, is when the scrolling box appears as you type certain code. If you could set it up to where when that box appears the peice of code being typed is already entered and all the user has to do is hit enter. I find that to be very useful.. Hope I explained that clearly lol other than that so far so good 🙂

Another thing would be the bracket-highlighting...
Modify it so that it can be used with either opening or closing brackets. Currently, it's only opening...

More testing to follow....

Bracket-highlighting is working. When the cursor is between a set of brackets, the application will highlight the current pair (works for tags and strings as well).

Regarding the auto-complete. I find it pretty annoying that you see the scrolling box on every character, so I've made it only an option. When you hit Ctrl-Space, the application will try to complete your current function.
