Sort on varchar field

Hi,

I want to sort on varchar field. normal order by command is not sorting in desired way. Please advice, how can i sort the data.

what's the desired way? Numbers come before letters from what I recall.

So your order will be Numbers first, then letters.

But what are you looking for exactly? Letters first??

yes, numbers first if i select order by ASC. If i select order by DESC, then alphabet should come first.
