MySQL question - importing .csv file

Hi all,

This doesnt really have anything to do with PHP itself, but does anyone know how (or if) I can import data from an excel sheet into my database? I can export it to that format so presume I can import? Im using PHPAdmin.

IN phpMyadmin click on the sql tab and there is an option to import files.

Hmm, I dont seem to have it. All I have is run a Query or Upload a text file?

Does anyone know how I can go about this? Either a .csv file, or a .xls .. I can export them but cant seem to import them 🙁

I took a screenshot incase you missed it, maybe your php version is too old. Consider upgrading if your not upto date.

Look at the bottom where it allows you to upload a text file.
