PHP COM to word

Im trying to insert a page break into word from php using COM.
Im using the following: $word->Selection->InsertBreak();
but for the life of me I cant seem to get it to work :S

Any ideas?

Using COM into MSWord is an incredibly bad idea. I can not stress strongly enough how bad an idea it is.

It only takes one tiny problem, and you'll end up with a lot of copies of winword.exe running on your server, which will then run out of memory and fail.

MSWord OLE automation is not robust enough for use in a server application. Consider buying a third party component to create MSWord documents (or better still, don't create them at all).

Well unfortunatly I have no choice in the matter. I know what your saying though. However, if you catch the errors properly you can still remove the winword.exe just fine.

Explain to your customer or boss, that using OLE automation for MSWord will not work. Give them reasons, and cite the numerous articles on the internet suggesting this.

Then give them some commercial alternatives, I'm sure they will either buy those, or find another solution.

It is not worthwhile even TRYING to use OLE automation in a server application, it will* fail.
