Need help printing records

Anyone care to help me display records from a table?
Each record, has a persons name, picture, birthday, favorite quote, nickname, hobbies etc. etc. etc.

I'd be looking just to display, in alphabetical order, their image, and their name underneath it.

Anyone want to help me start? Or, can point me to the right place? thanks.

table: authors

SELECT * FROM `authors` ORDER BY `name` ASC;

There's the SQL query, and all you need to do is collect the results, and display as neccessary.

Great it works now.

But I need to sort it by "title".

Here is what I have, that works:

But I need it to sort by:

Everything with "Year One" as 'Title' display here.
Then, everything with "Year Two" as 'Title' display here.
Next, everything with "Year Three" as 'Title' display here.
etc. etc. etc.

Any suggestions?

ORDER BY `authorname` asc

to:

ORDER BY `title` asc
