I'm looking to build my own virtual pets website.. Like neopets.. I can built HTML CSS and JAVA pages but am totally clueless when it comes to PHP.. If anybod could help me build the site.. or can tellme the things I need to learn to be able to make a website where people can sign up, log in, and earn points etc.. please let me know!

You can do what you want with PHP but its a fair bit of work! I would highly recommend getting a book on how to start programming with PHP and MySQL and take it from there!

You can learn from the net but its a lot cleaner to work from a book!

I'm on the same road as you Blackkatt although i'm coding a text based mmorpg, I will do it!

I don't recommend tutorials as they miss alot of impotrant stuff and just badly written.
