Sendmail.asp Equivalent?

Hello here from a total php newbie!

I'm looking for a simple php code I can use for webforms to submit information submitted via email.

I have usually used sendmail.asp in the past, keeping the script in one place and just calling on it on my server whenever I needed a form.

Im hoping I can figure out something equivalent to that.

Also, any help in getting the "from" field to be the person's email who submitted the form would be AWESOME!

php, unlike asp, has email capabilities built in. Check out the example in the manual of the [man]mail/man function.
