along w/ the Windows Binaries in php-5.1.2-Win32.zip , i also downloaded the PECL modules which, considering the placement of the link at PHP.net, one might assume should be considered part of the "total package".
however, as w/ the lack of specific info re: "update to 5.1.2" issue i posted earlier, i also found no specific info on what to do w/ the PECL "modules".
do i simply copy them into the same place as i did, for example, when i put the other .dll's including php_mysql.dll into the appropriate folder according to my settings, c:\php\ ?
or is there a special place for PECL modules?
would you say "i'll know when i need it", and until then no need to worry about it?
does someone know of the best reference source for this info?
assuming it's here-- http://pear.php.net/ -- is there a particular page i should reference? having to my knowledge never used a PEAR component / module (?), i don't understand the relevancy just yet. i have my ideas about it all.
