processing struggling

hi all, Im new here, started a new job, and was given a php file and asked to get processing part done, ive been struggling for 3 days now hunting hi and low but now the pressure is to much and was looking for some help, as the powers that be are breathing down my neck?? 🙁 big thnks to all who post and help me out on this 1

i have managed to do this in process.php

@extract($_POST);
$name = stripslashes($name);
$address = stripslashes($address);
$postcode = stripslashes($postcode);
$tel = stripslashes($tel);
mail('[e-mail]',$address,$postcode,"From: $name <$tel>");
header("location:contact.php");
?>

but when its done it takes me back to the contact.php form nit my thank you message

As this line

header("location:contact.php");

tells it to, thats not surprising.

You are telling it to go to contact.php in the header.
