Small include() problem.

Hello, I have several text files containing PHP, which I then use include() to put this all together. But on the finished webpage and in the finished source code, there is a '1' at the end of every included section, please tell me where I am going wrong.

impossible without seeing your code, but my suspicion is that you are [man]echo[/man]ing the return value of [man]include[/man] to the browser. on success [man]include[/man] returns boolean true (or "1" as a string).

😮 Thanks! I was using print() (sorry I probably should have mentioned that...).

But I removed that, and it's working properly now 😃.

If in the include file, you use "return $value;" you can in fact reference the include as if it were a function 😛

It comes in handy when you want to use regex to include a specific page, and then parse the contents.
