php question

i am new here and with php. i was wondering if there was such a script where you can install on your website so that one can upload a video and then others can watch. what i have is a pixel ad website and would like to integrate this with what i have? i would like for the user to be able to choose between a pixel ad or a small video and then place where ever they would like to within the grid.

I can;t think of any off the top of my head but in theory it should be quite simple to make :-)

There are numerous upload scripts out there, all you would then need to do is use PHP inside a HTML file to embed it or even use PHP to directly output it :-)

Yup, that sounds about right. There are gallery scripts out there that could be modified to do something like this :-)

All you have to do is upload the file and make it clickable, like make a jpg or gif screenshot of the movie or avi ro what ever and use that as a link to the file which is stord on the server and it will play the video or avi. Like below

<a href="movies/mymovie.mpeg"><img src="images/some.jpg"></a>

You could use CSS to position that tag wherever you want on the page.

i hate to be a pain. but what do i search for. i have looked for php video script and all i find is multi file upload.

so, upload the file as i would a pic but rename the file

what if you wanted the video to upload on your site...like if i wanted the video to play on my site...i have a pixel ad site and wanted to give an advertise the option to upload a small video and it played on my site with the option of you clicking the video and it goes to the advertisers site
