VBulliten Non-guests threads to RSS

iight the forum software vbulliten only allows threads that are avaiable to the public (no login required) to be enabled for RSS

i understand why this is done

but i would like to find a script that will using cookies will login and scrape what ever forums i tell it too and put it in an rss feed

i know php can set cookie values as i saw it with dynamic sigs on a torrent site

anyone have any clue where i should go on this?

Well, read up on cookies in the manual ([man]setcookie[/man])

But isn't there a really easy way around this (yes, I think there is):
Query the database tables yourself and create your own RSS Feed.

You know the database login right? Of course you do, you had to set up the forum. Use that to query each table for the info you want (title, first 75 characters of post, time, whatever). Then, just put together your own RSS feed....

I think that would take care of your "login" issues all together.

well its not my forum just a member of it
and the people that are running it are faction mates and dont know scripting
so im stuck with trying to get it to work
