Email problem

When the user registers, he is told a confirmation email is on the way to him. I want a copy to come to me, too.

Can anyone see the mistake, please?

The line you have quoted just sets the body of the email. It doesn't control who the mail is sent to. You need to display more code.

Check out the manual. The mail function requires 3 parameters, and accepts a further two optional ones.

In your code above, they map out as

To: $_POST['email']
Subject: 'Thank you for registering with the list'
Message: $body
Additional Headers: 'From: [e-mail]'
Additional Parameters: 'Cc: [e-mail]'

Your cc above is not a valid parameter:

You might want to try:

$headers = "To: ". $_POST['email']. "\r\n";
$headers .= "From: List Manager <[e-mail]>" . "\r\n";
$headers .= "Bcc: [e-mail]" . "\r\n";
mail ($_POST['email'], 'Thank you for registering with the list', $body, $headers);

This sets the from and to, as well as setting a BCC value as well.

A strange thing that happens doing it your way. On the "To" line of the received email, the recipient's address is repeated twice, like "To [e-mail]; [e-mail]; "

The db shows just the one email address. Be interested to know if there's something I should do to prevent it. Cheers
