I am experiencing some auth problems.... hope you can help....
my error_log is telling me :
[Tue Jan 24 12:53:29 2006] [error] [client 10.81.112.122] PAM: user 'keith.jasper' - invalid account: User not known to the underlying authentication module
and my
/var/log/messages says
Jan 24 12:51:52 www pam_winbind[16749]: user 'keith.jasper' granted access
Jan 24 12:52:10 www pam_winbind[16746]: user 'keith.jasper' granted access
Jan 24 12:53:19 www pam_winbind[16743]: user 'keith.jasper' granted access
Jan 24 12:53:29 www last message repeated 2 times
Jan 24 12:53:47 www pam_winbind[16748]: user 'administrator' granted access
How can a user authenticate and fail... any ideas... i know its going to be simple... am trying to use winbind to auth on domain for apache....
wbinfo works and is joined to domain.??
