Move Existing Fields and Data in SQL

It would help me if I could move an existing field in a table closer to other fields that I enter info into on a regular basis. Is it possible to rearrange the fields in a table w/o losing existing data?

I have PHPMyAdmin if that helps, and the Field I would like to move is called "Notes" from the 15th position to the 7th. Thanks for any help.

Not sure why you want to move the column. It doesn't make any difference to PHP or MySQL. If you do here's one way to do it:
- Make a new column in the right place,
- UPDATE table SET new_column=old_column,
- Delete the old column.
That should work but I haven't tested it so backup your data and check it's worked before deleting the old column.
Remember you may need to change your scripts if you have INSERTs without a column list, or you use numeric references to your result sets.
