Hi. I guess I'm kinda new to this forum and PHP itself, but I figured I'd post an intro so I can be more comfortable here (I don't know why that'd help, actually, but I feel like posting one, so there's my excuse).
I find PHP enjoyable, and I'm working on a website that makes PHP scripts (like shoutboxes, polls, portals, etc.). I'm the only administrator, and I've still got a lot to learn about PHP before I can complete the site. I also like to use--some--JavaScript and I have just made my first script using JavaScript cookies a few days ago. So far, I've been doing a lot of taking other code tutorials or sifting through code that has been made by others who are more experienced with scripting to get an idea of how PHP works. I've been doing this for about a year, but, unfortunately, I still get lost when I get hit with certain terms.
I am 13 years old and attend Smith Junior High School in Mesa, Arizona. I moved to Arizona from Minnesota two years ago. I still prefer Minnesota. I originally signed up for Computer Foundations and Keyboarding (the basics computer class required to take more advanced), but got promoted to Computer Applications II. This second semester I'm taking Introduction to Industrial Technology. I don't like it near as much as computers, so I plan on staying with other computer classes next year (eighth grade).
My career is to be somewhere in the web development field. I plan to go to EVIT (East Valley Institute of Technology) during high school, move on to MCC (Mesa Community College) after high school for two years, then visit a better known college (but NOT Harvard).
Okay, I ran out of things to say. 😃
