database in mysql with all my books

i need an advice. i want to creat a database with all my books which i have them on all my cd-s and i want to be created in mysql data base so i want to get an advice how to do it. and after i creat my data base i want all my books to be upload it on my server, so when ever i want to read them i can click on them and read them... and by the way in this way i need php aswell?

Good Luck. Sounds like you need MySQL with PHP. Hope you know some of it.

i know a bit, i just start it to work with php 5 and i know a bit of coding , but i want to know with what to start ,with mysql or php 5 ....

Start off with PHP. If you have a server with 5, awesome. Go from their.

You cannot run a database app without having the power to manipulate it.
