hello, i've got a person's date of birth in the form YYYY-MM-DD and i want to calculate his current age.
does anyone know a simple solution to this?

Use [man]strtotime/man and then subtract the current timestamp from that timestamp. The answer is in seconds, and it's all calculation from there.... 60 seconds in 1 minute 60 minutes in 1 hour 24 hours in day 7 days in one week.... etc. etc.
