Can I store an array in MySQL?

I would like to store an array in a MySQL table. The values will be numeric and ranging from 1-999.

I'm not sure if this is possible, and if it is then I'm not sure on the correct field type to use.

Is there anything else I'd need to know?

Thanks. I didn't expect the answer to lie with PHP, but it does confirm again just how good PHP is !!!!
