Error with session.save_path, write failed

Got the following problem now on 2 sites I have wich are using sessions.

Anyone a clue what it could be ?
Yesterday evening we had some problems with Gzip compression, maybe that is a issue ?

I think the file system (No space left on device (28)) where the session files are written has no more space. The session path can be located in the php.ini file.

I have the exact same problem, but no idea how to fix it. I may not be able to since I use an outside hosting complany for my site.

This may be a really stupid question, but where is the php.ini file. A have to assume its on the server as it sure doesnt seem to be on my machine.

PHP.ini is on the server.
As you said that you use a hosting company (probably shared hosting) the only one who can access php.ini is your hosting company.

I think it's the best to contact your hosting company and let them check the settings / server

Thanks for the help. It looks like my problem is bigger than i though. After contacting the hosting company they suggested I scub all the databases and upload them. Well, it sure would be nice if the upload function worked lol Seems that if the DB structure isnt there it doesnt do anything.

For future reference, and to save 2 weeks of typing, does anyone know if Mysql a backed up database (structure and data) can be uploaded to a site where no database currently exists?
