Moving image files (blob) from a database to a directory.

I recently set up a website that by default stores all images in the database... this presents a problem for me since I have a ton of image files.

Does anyone know of a simple script I can use that will move the files from the database to a directory that I specify. I have looked high and low and have not had any luck finding one.

This shouldn't be too hard for you to write yourself. Read through the tables and for each image:

fopen a new file (with the image name as the name) in your image folder,
write the blob variable into the file
close the file

Just be sure the file you open is of the correct extension, i.e .gif or .jpg.
