Anyone else tackled this?
I know its possibly and easy to send TXT messages using 1234567890@vtext.com (for Verizon anyway). The problem is that when it comes in, the "Reply-To" address is a mess. It's assigned by my server, and I can't see to change it. This is what I've tried so far:
mail("1234567890@vtext.com,","testing","hello there!","Return-Path: pics@blazinraisin.com\r\nReply-To: pics@blazinraisin.com\r\nFrom: pics@blazinraisin.com")
It comes through perfectly in Gmail and Outlook, with the proper "From:" and "Reply-To:", but on my phone, its still a mess. The "Return-Path" doesn't seem to be updating, and Gmail seems to be flagging it for spam when I try to change that part of the header.
Anyone had experience with this? I'd like the person who recieves the TXT message to just hit "reply" on their phone and send a picture back without having to retype an address, but nothing I do seems to work. Any ideas?
