Olympics!!

So who here has been following the Olympics in Torino?

I haven't, but I did catch a few highlights:

1. Chinese couples skaters really mess up and female falls hurting knees, continues program and finish second for silver medal (kudos to them)

2. American Skier does Banana Split on hill and skis next day

3. Russian Yevjeny Plushenko (spelling?) gets gold

4. SNOWBOARD-CROSS!!!! Oh yeah... that's a hot addition to the olympics!!

5. Skeleton... I'd never do it... 70+ mph head first..... something's wrong with them!!!

That's just a few, but so far it's been interesting.... they only come around once every two years.....

So anyone else following it? US is in like 4th place with 8 medals, 6 gold or something like that.....

I managed to record some pretty nasty crashes on the luge and skeleton.

England have like... 0 medals? I don't know lol...

Oh, we have ONE silver medal.

Canada won three skeleton medals: a women's bronze, a men's silver, and a men's gold. Hooray! 🙂 It makes you wonder what's wrong with a country when they win more than one medal in a sport that could more properly be termed 'suicide'. :queasy:
