Hi,

I am about to embark on a project that requires a discussion board on a Website, but i am a little unsure as to how to go about this. I'm not sure whether to go the php bb2 road and use this , or to build my own. I'm all for building my own as then i can keep it simple and only have the functionality that i need and customise it accordingly, however i have never build a discussion board before.

Does anyone know of a good article or tutorial that can direct me, i have search but i keep ending up on pages that try to sell out of the box solutions.
