Multiple mail() prob

Hi,
I'm using a simple mail form on my page. The PHP page has a form, and the info gets posted to itself, emails it, then sais 'message sent'.

It's working OK, but when you reload the page to send something again, it will not send. Even if you close the browser, and then open the page in a new one, it won't work for a couple minutes or so.

Is there a solution to fix this? And where does the problem occur (serverside or clientside)?

May be there's a delay on the SMTP server ?
A delay imposed between two emails ?
(Especially on mutualized hosts, to avoid sending of spam)
