i have a HTML table with a table enbeded within the table. how cna i make the enbeded table always stick to the top of the other table ?

I think you need to post your code so we can see what is going on. It's kind of hard to tell you what you need to do if we can't see what you have done.

try using the attribute valign="top" in the td element of the outer table that holds the inner table
