I'm a complete newb to PHP but I have a basic understanding of HTML, and I'm stuck on what is (hopefully) an easy-to-solve problem. If this is something that I most likely won't get help on, or if I'm asking for too much then that's fine. Just let me know and I'll leave it at that.
What I have is a webcomic website that uses webcomicConfig to do all the nitty gritty PHP work for me. It's the downloadable file in the first post if you'd like to get a view of all the files. What I want to do is have a page that displays the titles and avatars of the news posts and their authors, and when those titles are clicked it leads to its corresponding news snip. Currently the code is set up to display news bits that are posted only after the most recent comic strip, but I want it to ignore the comic dates. I just want it to display news titles in ascending order with their author's avatar next to them and, when clicked, they'll lead to the article they belong to. Can this be done and, if so, can somebody walk me through it in such a way that an idiot could understand it?
