Problem call image URL correctly from database

Hi All,

Second problem im posting, hopefully i can be twice as lucky here.

Okay i have a picture stored in lets say:

C:/newfolder/images

and the picture is called 01.jpg

Now im my database ive inputed the url:

C:/newfolder/images/01.jpg

However, in the html file. When i try and get the database to display the picture. It simply displays the url. So instead of there being a nice picture in my browser... its displaying:

C:/newfolder/images/01.jpg

where the picture should be..... :???: :queasy:

Is this the correct way to access that picture... or am i going about it completey wrong. What could be the problem???

well nobody can display a picture without the <img> tag :p. Im not really sure what this is for, but the output needs to be <img src="C:\newfolder\images\01.jpg"> to display it lol

rrriiiggghhhttt.... thought it may be something like that.

Well as the url's are stored in the database, im probably going to have to call them like this:

<img src=" $my_pic "> .... or something to that effect right?

Yep 🙂 except take the spaces out from around $my_pic
