Displaying an image in a email

I'm trying to use this code which puts out a link on a email
Leaf Image: http://mysite/icra/bloom/Brandon%2520Stratton.jpg

Leaf Image: ".$where_form_is."leaf/".rawurlencode($image_list[20])."

and I'm trying to use this code to display the image, I'm Not sure if this can be done, in any event I'm getting an error, can you tell me first if this is the way to go and if so what's wrong with this code
