MySql problem

Hello friends,

              I,ve setup my WAMP environment on Windows XP by installing:

1)apache 2.049
2)PHP 5
3)MySQL 4.1.14

I,ve configured apache & PHP successfully but whenever I try to connect MySQL through PHP script following error appears:
"#1251 - Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client"

I,ve been doing a successful WAMP by using MYSQL 3.23.52 but now I want to use PHP5 with MySQL4.1.14.Any help from anybody,d be a great courtesy.Thanks.
