Hi ho,
Today my hard drive (the C drive) which contains a year and a half worth of work crashed and appears to be corrupted beyond repair.
After several hours of panic, I finally have the hard drive reading on another computer (as a slave) and I am currently on a mission to save whatever files I can before throwing the whole thing in the bin. In truth, I can live without everything except my PHP and MySQL stuff. It's my job. I spend about 65% of my waking hours working with it and if I lose the stuff I've been working on then life just won't be living.
Anyway, the point is could anyone please tell me where the MySQL database files are stored? I need to save those files onto a CD ROM and install them on a new computer. I understand that my PHP webpages are all going to be stored in the Apache folder, but I'm not entirely sure where the MySQL stuff is.
