[RESOLVED] Very complicate issue (ADVANCED PHP USERS ONLY!)

Hi,

I need some assistance in a very wierd bug.

I have this symbol ť and his code symbol its ť who show himself in each front of my products category name.

I have checked all php files regarding the "cart" ... no results there its nowere.
I have checked the entire source regarding the "cart" ... no results there its nowere.

If you view the source of the HTML, you will see this character inside the <TD> just before the <a href.

See below. That would be a good place to start.

I dont see why this is so "complex" and you can only take responses from "(ADVANCED PHP USERS ONLY!) " lol.

You've obviously got some text before your links that says "t`"....not that complicated...and it has nothing to do with PHP.

Note error #64, the t symbol comes out as the unkown or whatever symbol....

Do you want the ť to be showing up in your page? It looks like an accented t so just use search and replace and wipe it out if you don't want it. Perhaps whatever you are using to edit that one fie added some sort of garbage to your file.

my guess is that it is an internationalization issue. the data producing the output was probably entered from a system using a different charset than the DB supports.

Try getting rid of all the spaces after the <TD> and before the <A

It might be a char that doesn't get displayed in your editor.

But you have to admit that Arc was right about the problem. So he mistook a ť for a t`, the same way you mistook "SYBLOL" for "SYMBOL".

Nope he aint, i dont have text before your links that says "t`".... it just one space before <td> that i havet seen it. 🙂
i think anyone knows how to find a "t" in a file just CTL+F 🙂)

No, weed was saying that t` looks like (and was meant to be) your symbol, much like "SYBLOL" looks like (and was meant to be) SMYBOL. And a Ctrl+F would have found the symbol to.... a search and replace would have gotten rid of it as well.
