Search Files on Webpage

Hi all,

I have a webpage displaying uploaded files.

Is there any way to allow users to search the file?

Are these files simple text files?

no excel files.

Displayed on webpage using Spreadsheet Excel Writer. i.e. displayed as html

If it is displayed as HTML, why not use the browser's search function. For instance, in Internet Explorer, you can use <Ctrl - F> to bring up a Find function...

Sorry guys - here's exactly what I need - forget the search html bit...

I need to provide a function to search Excel files stored on the server.

So the user enters a keyword, the excel files are searched through until this keyword is found.

Is this possible?
