my program actually to retrieve search results from yahoo result page..
so the $y_res is actually the search results from yahoo..let say you search for 'php forums'..
the $_arr[2] may look like this..

the $y_URL[2] may look like this..

the $y_res[2] is the combination of $y_arr[2] and $y_URL[2]
but i want to make it into associative array...
i've read tutorials on array_combine(), array_merge(), and etc...
my problem right now is i got the loop and [$i] and the value is not predefined first..
huhuhuu..i dont know how to make it any clearer..
i understand the associative array..but with the loop i fail to create the array i want..huhuuu
