Personalised voucher

Hi from a newbie,

I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but I'm going to ignore how stupid it may make me look and ask anyway. I'm trying to create a membership site that allows individuals to sign up - this bit I can do - however following this I want the member to able to download a voucher which is personalised with their name and limit this download to one a day.

Would this be possible using php?

Yes. Assuming they sign-up then you must be using something to identify them afterwards: login/cookie. Simply record each dl with a timestamp and compare that before allowing them to dl again. If course nothing is going to stop them registering under different names to bypass any system-check.

Do you know of any script that ins available that I could modify for this use - as you can probably tell my skills aren't as good as yours!
