Another small error that I can't seem to find the source of...

echo "<HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV=\"refresh\" content=\"1;URL=http://localhost/go.php?var='$next'"></HEAD>";

Is the line causing the problem... 🆒

In other words, look at the code right after the '$next' part of the code. If you still cannot find the problem, then you need to pick one:

a) look again
b) sleep then do (a)
c) see an optician
d) give up

Your job is even easier considering the forum PHP code parser has done some of the work for you.

Well I got it to work 😉

I use Dreamweaver and it also hinted that there was a problem with the code, but because I didn't code the javascript I didn't want to play around with it...

But I deleted a few " s and the problem was fixed and the code still works.

Actually, all you needed to do was to escape a double quote:

echo "<HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV=\"refresh\" content=\"1;URL=http://localhost/go.php?var='$next'\"></HEAD>";
