I set up a mysql datatbase on my computer, now how do i link my site to my database?

Are you familiar with PHP at all? If not, then I suggest a good book, "PHP & MySQL for Dummies" by Janet Valade. Don't let the name put you off. She covers the details quite nicely.

If you are familiar with PHP, I have covered the PHP coding for database basics in the post at http://phpbuilder.com/board/showthread.php?t=10319260 . Take a look at that, and see if that helps.

No i'm not very familiar with php. I code in c++, i just want to make a text mmorpg with the gamers fusion script. I'll take a look at the thread thx.
