pear installation for php bugtracker software

Hi all
I am getting following error when i tried to install phpbugtracker in my system

DB Test Failure
The installation could not connect to the database bug-tracker on the host using the specified username and password. please check these details are correct and that the database already exists then retry

Failed loading PEAR😃B
please check your pear installation and the defined PEAR_PATH in install.php

Have you installed PEAR DB? Have you set your database settings? Have you read the installation instructions? Have you read the error messages?

Really, the error message is telling you exactly what the problem is and is even telling you what you should do about it.
