PHP Code Editor

Hi,

I am on a mission to remove any commercial software (especially Dreamweaver - uuurrghhh) from my web design 'toolbox'.

I have downloaded a trial version of UltraEdit which is miles better than dreamweavers code editor. Is there a similar (free) open-source editor? Any recommendations?

Same goes for a flash editor. Am I stuck with Flash as my only swf creation tool?
