Thanks for your reply Shrike, honest answer is I don't know if they are the same thing or not. I did a 'remote-list' of all the pear packages but didn't see one just called image_graph.
The one I'm looking at is the pear package that allows you to use the AT&T graph visualisation tools (ooops has my spelling just given my location away 😃 ) which you can look at ..... http://www.graphviz.org
If you look at the gallery there you can probably get an idea of why I thought this tool might help with flow charts. I've done a huge amount of stuff with bar, line, and pie charts dynamically created from both MS SQL and MySQL dbs, and for that I use JPGraph, which can be made look quite colourful once you get the hang of using it, and the development licence is free, commercial less than 100 US$.
Where I am at now is I've installed graphviz from graphviz.org and installed the Pear package and edited the graphviz.php file so that $dotCommand and $neatoCommand both point to the correct file location. I've taken their demo php code, which runs without any errors but the graph doesn't show. If it is important I'm running this on my MS development system, Windows 2000 server, IIS 5, PHP 5.1 and SQL 2000 server.
