Help on making a online Book store!!!

Hi there, im new to all of this PHP.. and i need to make an online bookstore for one of my courseworks for uni! i totally cant get threw any books i have... and the tutorials my lecturer has given i just cant work with.... I NEED HELP!!!!!

What im after is some sort of tutorial online that will set me to the right direction... this is what i need to do ...

Create a search function so it look for the information in the database and bring it up on the website. like Title, Author, Price and a picture, maybe a little discription aswell...

thats the main thing really .. then when the results come up then the user can click on the book for more information!

Hope some one can be a help to find me a tutorial or some help in regards

Try approaching the problem in steps instead of one big one:

• Create a simple page that shows search results - for the time being, just make the page show everything in the database (you can make it select specific results at a later stage).

When thats done, work on making the searching part work (changing the SQL to select the fields based off the entered criteria).
